Last week we decided to tidy up our vegetable garden and harvest the vegetables that we had grown…it was a lot of hard work but it was rewarding to see how much everything had grown!
It made us reflect on how the fruit and vegetables we eat at home come from the fields to the market and then to our plate.
We then decided to make our own market, what fun! We took turns to be either the market seller or the shopper. We asked for vegetables, how much they cost, said the prices and gave change. Our market was a great success, the children really liked using their English in a real situation. We´re definitely going to do it again!
